You will explore a range of specific needs of customers accessing health and social care services and understand how to adapt communication styles and approaches for customers with specific needs.
Learners will also look at how the health and social care service environment could be adapted to accommodate individual needs and how to respond to behaviour that is challenging.
Effective communication for health and social care
You will consider ways of developing positive working relationships with customers in a health and social care setting, using effective communication and removing barriers that prevent effective communication.
This qualification is aimed at learners who work with people in a health and social care setting or are interested in this field of work.
