The aim of this qualification is to advance your understanding of bookkeeping principles to develop your career in finance. You will gain the skills to progress in accountancy, completing units in the following area; professional ethics for accounting technicians, accounts preparation for sole traders and partnerships, cash management, spreadsheets, indirect tax (preparing VAT returns).
The course is ideal if you're already working in finance or would like to work in bookkeeping and the progression route is onto the AAT Diploma in Accounting Level 4.
You will be expected to join and pay for membership of the professional body, the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). The cost of this will be confirmed on your enrolment on the course.
The fee for the course is £1780 plus £270 course registration fee. You are also expected to pay the deposit of £30 and a £10 charge for the certificate postage.
