Develop digital skills for the workplace.
Many administrative tasks in the workplace are now completed digital – this course will support you to develop digital skills in a professional context such as; using computer operating systems for example windows, using equipment such as mouse and keyboard, using search engines and online tools, professional use of email, Creating and editing documents, spreadsheets and presentations, file management, online meetings and collaboration such as zoom and Microsoft teams, internet safety and security, and the use of social media platforms in business.
Accredited by NCFE this is a useful qualification to help with digital confidence for everyday life and the workplace.
The course covers the following topics:
- Being safe and responsible online and on digital devices
- Using digital devices and handling information
- Creating and editing
- Digital communication
- Transacting digitally
This course is usually free for adult learners who are unemployed or who earn less than £25,000 a year and have digital skills below level 1.
This is an exam-based course, if you would prefer a course designed more around your own needs, delivered at the pace at which you would like to learn, we also have a recreational course - Introduction to Digital Skills.
