Use your love of fashion and/or interior design to develop your textile skills.
This course is for those who want to develop their skills and knowledge in textiles. You will use materials, tools and equipment to develop craft techniques, develop ideas and create and evaluate items you have produced.
Funding: This course is usually free for adult learners who are unemployed or who earn less than £20,319 a year.
Resources needed for textiles:
Materials for projects, that you want to work on
* Fabric for the sewing and extra for testing on
* Fabric scissors
* Pins
* Sewing needles
* Machine threads
* Sewing machines are provided
Please note - this is the same qualification as the Craft Award, so only one can be studied as a qualification.
