During this course you will explore and practise the skills required to create beautiful jewellery in silver and base metals, including simple stone setting techniques.
Beginner Students will undertake a guided project in the first half of the sessions learning skills to fabrication skills such as sawing, filing, soldering and polishing while creating an item of silver jewellery. Students are then encouraged to create a second item using the skills obtained in the remainder of the course. Returners are encouraged to make items of their own design.
