This nationally recognised course is validated by the NCFE, and although it is not a licence to practise as a counsellor it provides a progression route to a Diploma in Counselling.
Candidates must produce evidence that they have attained a Level 2 Counselling Skills qualification, with a minimum of 40 hours training.
This is an ideal qualification for those seeking to enhance their employment skills through the use of counselling skills (e.g. nurses/social workers). It could also be useful to those seeking a career change, to those offering help on a one-to-one basis and those wishing to progress to further training as a professional counsellor. It would also be useful to those wishing to consolidate their skills and knowledge in a counselling context.
The fee for the course is £1060. You are also expected to pay a £10 charge for the certificate postage.
