This course is for adults aged 18 or over interested in pursuing a career in the fitness industry. The Level 2 course enables students to develop their knowledge and understanding of instructing clients in physical activities and gym based sessions and gives them the opportunity, upon completion of the course, to become a Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor. This qualification will allow students to become a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).
Students will train in the College's state-of-the-art gym as part of the programme.
There is a practical kit which students will be expected to purchase and wear to all sessions.
Entry Requirements
A range of D/3 grades at GCSE. Students who do not have English and Maths at grade C/4 or above will be required to take a qualification in these alongside.
The fee for the course is £630. You are also expected to pay the deposit of £30 and a £10 charge for the certificate postage.
