New Year Calm -Teaching Pranayama and Subtle Energy
In the yogic tradition, the breath is seen as the outward manifestation of prana, or vital energy. Gaining control of the breath by practicing breathing exercises – pranayama – increases the flow of prava through the body, which literally recharges body and mind.
During the workshop you learn several ancient yoga breathing techniques, including Abdominal breathing, Anuloma Viloma, Kapalabhati and Brahmari.
We cover basic concept of subtle energy (koshas, prana, chakras, nadis).
